Recruitment Funnel Planner
Core Concept's Recruitment Funnel Planner software system
is a Windows-based desktop application for use by CRA's
and other clinical trial management personnel to
prospectively estimate the patient "recruitment funnel"
at both the country and site level.
The Planner facilitates:
- enrollment estimation during the country allocation and
site selection processes;
- recruitment planning discussions with investigative
sites; and
- extensive analyses of the effects of protocol design on
enrollment potential.
This enables clinical trial management personnel to compare
a site's estimate of enrollment potential against expected
study goals and to determine whether recruitment support
strategies will be needed to "fill the funnel" of potential
patients. Additionally, the Planner allows immediate
"real-time" scenario planning to determine what the expected
outcome may be if study awareness activities are increased
or initiatives are implemented to prevent the loss of
patients. Multiple scenarios can be created and saved per
country and per site in order to be able to update estimates
over time and compare to baseline projections.
