Data Services

Our data services group assists our customers in integrating a wide variety of data sources and bringing them together in an accessible and easily understandable repository. In order to do so, we offer the following services:

Bridging By putting in place a number of automated intelligent components, as well as manual edits as need be, we bridge the dimensions and corresponding fact information that is made available from a variety of sources, including First Data Bank, IMS, CARS, NDC, Verispan, Medimedia Formulary Compass, Interstudy, and a variety of other data sources. We offer a periodic update service that keeps these sources in sync, allowing our customers to perform their analyses without worrying about consolidating different data sources.

Semantic Layer To make querying easy within our Concert Analyst toolkit, we allow users to easily access the data using a single or multiple semantic layers. These semantic layers are customized with powerful rules processing that allows a level of query customization that is simply not possible with standard BI tools. What's more, the results are directly populated into a worksheet component, that allows you to easily manipulate it and use in your analysis.

ETL Services Where necessary, Synapse Analytics can provide the necessary data modeling and ETL services -- using a variety of platforms and tools, including Oracle, DB2, MySQL, MS-SQL Server, Informatica and so on.
